Happy Birthday Owen!!!!

Owen is officially two years old!!! It has been a quick but memorable two years and I am slightly devastated that my "baby" is now a toddler! Here is a little Owen timeline:

We started at complete and total shock looking at a positive pregnancy test to more shock and feeling totally overwhelmed staring at the ultrasounds!

More shock and disbelief watching this thing grow in my tummy!

And then here he was!!!!
He was a sweet and snuggly infant and grew so fast!
And pretty soon he was all over the place!
One year old!!!
This last year seems to have gone by so much faster than the first!!! He has grown by leaps and bounds and has hit so many growth and developmental milestones.

And now he's talking, swimming, running and even using the potty! Where did my little boy go?

wearing big boy undies :)
I cannot believe that my last little baby is 2 years old! What a blessing this time has been with him! Next week my little guy starts daycare full time and I am headed back to work!!! I will keep you posted on which one of us cries more....pretty sure the money is on me :)

Sea World, we love you...and we're coming back!!!

Some of the fondest memories we have as a family go hand in hand with Sea World. One of the perks of being a teacher is that Sea World gives free annual passes to teachers. So for the two years I worked while we had the girls we had passes and were frequent visitors. However it's been three years since I worked as a teacher so we haven't been to Sea World since 2009!

the seals and sea lions are our favorite

We loved going to Sea World so much and have sincerely missed it over the last three years! We are definitely going to be getting our passes this fall!!! We can't wait!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Yesterday afternoon my girls got the treat of a lifetime!!! Aunt Renee and Uncle Ben came into town and arranged for my two girls and Reese to have a trip to Downtown Disney and visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! This is a little boutique where girls get to get a makeover like their favorite princess. For Christmas they received Disney dresses so now they just needed the hair and make up. It was awesome!!!

Princess Savannah

they even had a face shield to protect them from the pixie dust and hair spray!!!
Princess Reese

Princess Kaitlyn

Savannah chose to be a Diva Princess

Reese chose the Pop Rock Princess

and Kate chose the Fairy Tale Princess
One thing is for sure, these girls got sparkled!! Savannah's girl was a little light with the sparkle, Reese's girl was generous with the sparkles, but Kate's girl covered every inch of hair, clothing, and skin in sparkles!!! She was very shimmery!
even her socks and shoes got a got coat of sparkle
After our appointment, we walked around a little bit and let the princesses show off!

beautiful babies :)

the Goff family
Soon it was off to our next adventure - The Rainforest Cafe!!!

Owen found being under his high chair way more fun than being in his high chair!
Dinner was nice and finally after all the waiting around for the girls and being so patient, Owen got a little treat of his own - riding the "choo choo"

What a treat for the girls and a joy to watch their excitement!!! The Oliver family had a fabulous day hanging out with the Goff family!!! We can't wait to do it again soon! Thank you so much Aunt Renee, Uncle Ben, and Reese :)

Ice Cream Tuesday

I read somewhere that July 15th is National Ice Cream Day. We didn't have ice cream on the 15th but I decided on the 17th while Mike was working all day for Driver's Ed we would celebrate ice cream day a little late. This was the first (and thankfully last) day in a while that I had all the kids alone all day while still trying to work so I knew I would need some sort of mid day distraction for all of us. A trip to the park with ice cream did the trick!

first we had to separate Owen from his new obsession - "my cookie, my elmo"

Owen is getting to be so big and independent

The trip only lasted about an hour but it was enough heat and exercise to make them starving for lunch and ready for some quiet time so it did the trick!

Art Camp Week 2

Kaitlyn just completed her 2nd week at art camp. This summer is flying by so fast it's scary!!! Three more weeks until reality sets in!!!

This is Kate's version of the Mona Lisa....I think I like hers better - it has more color!
