Owen's Birthday Party :)

Yesterday was Owen's first birthday and we had a party to celebrate!

I attempted to get a few cute shots of Owen in his birthday shirt before the festivities began :)

Because this is my last "first" birthday I got a little more into the decorating :) I can't believe my little baby is one!

Mike grilled up a nice lunch for us all! Owen chowed down!!

And Nana got Owen to show everyone "So Big"

After a yummy lunch, we all had cupcakes and ice cream. Owen wasn't quite sure what to do with his cake. He took a few bites of icing and was over it.

However, as soon as he saw that Pappy had ice cream he was smacking his lips. Mamaw was nice enough to feed him a little ice cream. He really is all Oliver :)

Then it was time for gifts! Man oh man, did he make out!!!

 He got lots of new clothes, books, trucks, and toys that make noise. He's finally got some true "boy" stuff!!! His Daddy is so happy :) Here he is on his new riding toy...and it's BLUE!!!!

A gift from Nana and Papa O

After the party was over, it was clean up time!!!

Savannah decided it was her job to clean up all the extra icing!!! In Papa O's hat :)

I was shocked that after refusing his morning nap and holding up great throughout the party that he still had energy to move!! But he did. He played with his new toys and explored the living room.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate Owen's first birthday. It was such a treat to be able to share it with you all. He is so lucky to have such great family and friends in his life! Mike and I are looking forward to many more wonderful birthdays with our little miracle baby!
