For Owen's birthday rather than having a party we decided to take a family trip to the Brevard Zoo. We went once before when Kate was 5 so we were excited to visit again!

The woman that sold us our tickets told us to feed the giraffes early so that's where we went first!

These birds must have been good judges of character because they landed on Mike and Kate just fine but when Savannah held out her arm, the bird just nipped her finger!! :)

The zoo wasn't as big as we remembered but they did have an interesting petting area.

The day was really hot and we were all pretty sweaty by about 2:00 so we cooled down with a popsicle before leaving.
