Knoxville Zoo

Last Saturday Mike had to attend a work event in Knoxville and was going to have to stay overnight. So he invited us to go with him as long as we could entertain ourselves for the day on Saturday. Easy! There was a zoo very close by! My kids love a good zoo...

We were lucky because it was warm and sunny that day

As most frazzled parents do, we forgot something...this time it happened to be the stroller....bummer. So I rented one and it turned out great because they could actually both fit in it....less whining!

All three of my kids touched this 6 foot snake

 After a few hours checking out the animals, we noticed there was a nice splash pad to play in! Perfect way to cool down on a hot day :)

Owen still doesn't really love dripping water

Both girls got soaked!

Owen wanted a photo op with the lion...but then he saw the jeep and was pointing over to it!

There....now they are in the jeep! Three sweet faces :)

We were kind of bummed that Daddy couldn't come with us, but if we had to spend a Saturday without him, this wasn't  a bad deal!
