More Indiana Fun :)

While we were in Indiana for the weekend celebrating my grandparents anniversary, we also took a little time to have some fun!

Friday night we went over to Grant and Jessica's house for dinner and the kiddos got to catch up! I love this picture! The the sun setting over the field and his sweet face it is just perfect! 

All the kids + Grandpa John on the trampoline = trouble!! Thankfully no one was injured! :) 

Hotel!! My kids love hotels! And they were so tired after the car trip and fun evening they slept in until about 9 am! Sweet!!! 

Carrie, who flew in for the event solo, and I took the kids to Dairy Queen in Shelbyville. We grew up eating ice cream here and playing on this cow. Somehow it seemed bigger when I was a kid!!! 

Sunday before we had to head home, we got a real treat. My dad's best friend growing up had a son about my age. He and I became good friends in high school and Sunday we introduced our sons to each other. They are the same age! So 3 generations of friends! Very cool. 

Then it was all over and we had to head home :( But we had a great time and just love the fact that we are close enough to visit fairly frequently!
