At his 4 month check up, Owen weighed in at 15 lbs 13 oz. That puts him in the 75% percentile. He measured 24 1/2 inches in length putting him in the 50% percentile. I can't believe there was a time when we were worried about his weight gain!! He is huge! And developmentally he is right on target. The only thing he isn't doing yet is rolling over. The doctor actually said that he probably can't roll over yet because he has so much body (I think she meant belly!!!) to roll! She recommended that he start fruits and vegetables right away! I can't wait to see what he thinks about that!!!
I have to say after having both my girls being so skinny and short, I am absolutely thrilled to have a chubby baby!!! I adore his little double chin and his thunder thighs!! And with a little more practice, hopefully he'll figure out how to roll over :)
