Bye Bye Binkies....

Last week Owen was having trouble sleeping. I am not sure if it was because he was sick or if he's just transitioning to a new schedule. We had recently stopped giving him his early morning bottle and he had been doing great....but then he decided that 5 am was a reasonable waking hour! So I decided that if I am going to get less sleep right now I would rather just go ahead and take his binkies away and deal with his wrath now.

We let Owen have his last nap with a binkie Sunday afternoon. He was so tired Sunday night that he slept great without it. Monday was a little rough. He didn't nap very well and I forced him to stay up until right around his normal bedtime so he was pretty cranky!!! But he slept good and stayed down until almost 6am....that's a little better!!!

He cries a little when he first goes down but he sleeps just as well without it! Yay!!! No more dragging binkies where ever we go!!!

Here they are stashed away with Savannah's pink "banket". She drug that thing around for like 2 years!!!
