Last week the kids and I were in Gatlinburg with Grandma and Grandpa John and John's three sons and their families! It was a great time and we were so blessed to get invited on this little family reunion :) It was quite the undertaking to get 4 of us plus Grandma up to Gatlinburg in the van in one piece. The 11 hour car ride was actually 13 1/2 hours over 2 days and by the time we actually pulled in it was like we had hit the lottery!

Right off the back porch of our unit was a little creek. I am sure I don't have to tell you how much my kids, Savannah in particular, loved this! She called it the "nature deserve" (attempting to call it a nature preserve).
The next day while all the boys went golfing, the ladies and the kids went into downtown Gatlinburg for some sight seeing.

Our group!! I think we were slightly nuts taking 7 children on a walking tour with only 5 adults but it turned out just fine :) |

The first couple days were busy and tiring but over all everything was great! Check back for more Gatlinburg posts :)
