Sickos

On Friday afternoon I noticed that my eye was red and it was watery....Owen had a cold and had been sleeping in bed with me hacking in my face so I was pretty sure it was pink eye. Saturday morning my eye was swollen and red so I went to see the eye dr for some drops. By Sunday morning Owen's cold had turned really yucky and Savannah's eyes were all red and swollen. Monday morning Owen's eyes were infected and Savannah got his cold so off to the Dr we went. Both kids got antibiotics, eye drops, and Owen got another prescription for breathing treatments!!

Monday was a tough day for all us sickies!

On Tuesday my eyes were all better but I woke up with Owen's cold full force!!! Ugghhh.... Mike ended up staying home with them so I could head back to work but Owen has decided that he hates getting his eye drops so it actually takes three of us to instill them!!

I felt horrible leaving my babies at home sick to go to work but Mike held down the fort wonderfully!!! By the time I got home Tuesday evening, Savannah felt and looked much better and Owen sounds a lot better. He will need another day of Mike's attention but hopefully we will all be back in the routine by Thursday. I am definitely starting to remember why I left teaching the first time - balancing it and the family is quite the challenge!
