Louisville Zoo

We have been in Lexington for a month now and Mike has been working a full three weeks and the whole work from home thing is starting to make him a little stir crazy! He was begging to get out with us one afternoon! So I found that the Louisville Zoo had a special twilight entrance price. Arrive at 5pm or later and admission is only $5 and you can stay in the zoo until 8 pm. Mike didn't need much convincing :)

I am not sure why Owen is making that face, but it's priceless!

This was our first major outing without a stroller and it was really nice! Although Owen did get a few rides on Mike's shoulders :)



Gorilla Girl

This giraffe really liked Mike, so much so he spit on him :) he he...

We spent the full three hours at the zoo and pretty much saw everything! Plus there were no crowds, and it was pretty cool. It turned out to be a great deal.
