Programs Galore!

This week was a busy one around our house! We had a ton of events to attend and it was also the last week of school before Winter Break.

The first program of the week was Owen's T/Th program at the preschool that I run

Because the majority of our 50 kids in the program are 2 and under, we kept the program simple. But our 4 year old class was a living Nativity! They did such a good job

My Owen Joseph got to be Joseph. The funniest part was Mary kept trying to pass off Baby Jesus to him!!!

the littler ones

This pic Mike took makes me laugh! The parents loved it!

One afternoon this week I attended my very first Ugly Christmas Sweater party with the staff ladies at the church where I work. And of course being from FL I don't own a single Christmas Sweater let alone an ugly one. So I bought one....it said "I fish you a Merry Christmas!" I was pretty sure I was going to win the prize for the ugliest sweater!

Our host cooked like she was Paula Deen and I couldn't even eat until the next morning! As the for the prize, you know you are around Christian women when you go to an "ugly" party and they all insist that your sweater is pretty and cannot bear to vote on the ugliest :) In the end we had to write down our votes in secret and I am sorry to tell you I did not win! But we had a great time!

The next performance of the week was Kate's Winter Concert for Chorus. Unfortunately Savannah got sick at school so I had to stay home with her and didn't get to see it. But Mike took lots of pics and a little video for me.

Mike got her flowers for the performance

Not sure why but she ended up in the 2nd row behind a taller girl

Here is she in front of the A/B Honor Roll! Smart and talented she is!! :)
Then I threw my preschool teachers a little Christmas Breakfast at school....

Owen ate exactly 5 powered sugar donuts and noting else....how did he end up being such a picky eater?

And finally on Friday we had our last program! Owen's MWF preschool program and Open House

They gave an awesome performace! Owen came down the aisle afterwards in tears because he had dropped her beloved eraser under the risers! So Savannah went and found it for him!

Even though she was feeling a lot better, we kept her home to be safe. She had to miss her class party so I let her get all dressed up to try to cheer her up!

These are two of Owen's favorite school friends Cooper and Lenox. I just think all three of these boys are very stylish!
