Unfortunately about an hour after we arrived, the place was invaded by 80 children from a daycare!!! It got a little too crowded and a little too rough for us! But we still had a great time!!
Thursday was a big day for the Olivers!!! It was boat day! Jack and Carrie had a friend nice enough to take us all out on his boat. It was amazing!!!
The water was beautiful and the boat was FAST!!!! Mr. Pucci (Jack and Carrie's friend) and his grandson Carter took us to a little restaurant on the water for lunch. After lunch, we fed some fish off the dock.
the boys kept turning in their highchairs to look and laugh at each other...so cute! |
Then it was back to the boat!
Once we docked at Mr. Pucci's house, he invited us to stay and swim in the lake a while. My girls had such a blast! And Savannah flirted shamelessly with Carter, his grandson.
Savannah will tell you that the best thing about this lake is that there were no alligators, sharks, or snakes!!! She was very happy that her Mommy (who is a little neurotic about lake creatures) actually gave her permission to get in the water!!! This was definitely the highlight of our trip!
And the adults had more fun to come! Carrie arranged for a sister (or three sitters :) ) to come and watch the kids so the two couples could have a date night! Yes!!!! We ate at a fabulous Japanese steak house and followed it up with dessert from Chick-fil-a!
