Although I will be the first to tell you how thrilled I am to have had Owen for so many reasons (boy, got to experience pregnancy, got to have one more "baby", etc), I will also be quick to explain the fundamental problem with having a third! He mimics EVERYTHING the other two do!
Case in point - markers, glue, scissors! We have this issue with craft stuff. The girls love it but it's not safe for Owen. We can't very well ban crayons but we don't want all our furniture colored on either. So we have designated spots where the girls are to keep these items which are out of his reach.
The problem - Owen sees what his sisters do when they can't reach something. They get a stool and climb. So what does he do when he wants something - he gets a stool and climbs!!!
Notice this picture - he's not in it!!! He ran as soon as he saw me coming. But you can see the stool and the top right drawer he pulled open!
Cornered in the kitchen!! He held the paint brush away from me so I couldn't take it!
And then just before he must give it back, he tries to quick scribble on the tile with it!
So now, I have to put the stools where he can't reach them!!!! Maybe it's just that I have forgotten, but I just don't remember Savannah being this difficult :)
