Shopping Day!

So this week we had a real treat! On Wednesday night at church someone left an envelope for Kaitlyn and Savannah and when we got home we discovered it was a cash gift with a note asking that I take them on a shopping spree!

They were so excited! So Saturday we went up to Sanford to do a little shopping. Since the girls already have quite a bit of regular clothing, we decided that we would focus on getting new church clothes and some summer stuff.

They made out!! Savannah got 3 dresses, 2 shirts, 1 skirt, 2 headbands, new panties, a pair of flip flops, and a pair of sunglasses. Kaitlyn got 2 dresses, 1 shirt, 1 skirt, 1 pair of shorts, 2 headbands, a pair of flip flops, and a pair of sunglasses.

Poor Owen had to endure an entire day of shopping for his sisters so we bought him a new pair of pajamas :)

And to finish off our afternoon we bought Mike a new car!!! It has been a long time coming but finally we were able to go and get him a reliable car! Yay!! It was a great day of shopping together as a family :)
