Eggs!

The girls were home on Friday due to a teacher work day, but being a teacher Mike had to work! So I had 4 children at home ALONE! I thought that this was the perfect day (really, what was I thinking?) to dye Easter Eggs. I originally intended on doing it during one of Catherine's naps and including Owen but then I remembered that Owen is a disaster lately. He is into everything and enjoys making a good mess. So I decided to do it during Owen's nap after lunch. Well, having the girls home together proved to be not so fun and by about 9:30 Kate was being such a punk I asked Mike to come and get her and take her back to school with him after lunch! So it was down to Savannah and me and thankfully both babies slept through the entire process :) 

She kept saying that we were "diving easter eggs"...it was cute

She actually did pretty good not making a mess

I bought this egg speckling kit so we painted these with sponges....no dipping...definitely cleaner!

I also bought these Q-tip things with paint in them for extra fun!

9 eggs was all we had...a little sad :)

I guess this is what holidays are going to be like for us right now....Kate and I were the only ones who decorated our Christmas tree and it was just Savannah and me for the eggs....hopefully one day we will all get to do things together and enjoy doing them!
