A Christmas Train Ride

This year our family got an exciting treat!! We got invited to go for a Christmas train ride on the Orange Blossom Cannonball :)

When we got to the train station they had face painters and Grandpa John paid for the kids to get their faces painted (Kate decided she was too big though).

And I was just attempting to snap a great group picture or Grandma and Grandpa John with Mike and the kids holding up their tickets when my batteries died!!! Uggghhh....

The train ride was awesome! It was as close to the Polar Express as they could get without having to pay for it! They gave out hot chocolate and cookies and Santa came on board to visit with the kids. The train was all decked out with Christmas lights and they had people leading us in singing Christmas carols. I definitely wish I would have checked the batteries before we left but we have fantastic memories of it!! It was definitely the coolest thing we've done in a while :)
As we were heading back into the train station, they gave each child a bell so we got to hear Jingle Bells all the way home :)

Thanks so much Mom and John for a festive evening and great Christmas memories :)
