Back and Forth

When we decided to move to Tennessee it was early April and we had already made many of our summer plans so rather than changing up all the kids activities, I just decided that we would do a little back and forthing during the summer.

It's only the 3rd week in June and I am already tired of it! It's just hard to get settled when you are constantly in motion.....

Last Monday Kaitlyn left to go on a week long youth retreat with our church so we were in Lexington. Savannah has gotten into roller skating lately so Owen and I took her to practice. Then after swim lessons and T Ball practice we drove back to Knoxville.

Doing his disco dance.....he really is a ham

The only pic I could get of her skating

Owen was more concerned about the snacks than the skates! :)

The kids and I helped my Dad do a little house hunting in Knoxville and this is the view from one of the places he looked at....not bad!

Out to dinner with Papa T.....this girl ate 8 out of 10 Buffalo Wings! She's a beast!!!
While we were still in Knoxville, we made a trip over to the zoo for a play day!

The splash pad was open again!

And so was the Dippin Dots stand

Owen and the lion.....just look at the next pic

Same lion....two years ago in Oct 2013
Two of the gorillas have just recently had babies and we got to see one! It was really cool

While we were at home during the week, Savannah used her butterfly habitat to house lightening bugs that she caught each night!

Then Friday rolled around and it was time to head back to Lexington for more swimming, T Ball, and birthday party fun!

Owen's BBF Lenox had a swim party!

Owen is absolutely my most social child. He makes friends wherever he goes and just loves to chat with anyone who will listen! He gets invited to a ridiculous number of birthday parties!

It was Ninja Turtle Themed all the way!

Lenox, Owen, and Cooper....the three preschool amigos!

So for now and for the love of my children and all their various activities, we are living back and forth between Kentucky and Tennessee!
