Indy Weekend

Originally we had planned to go to Indiana during the early part of Memorial Day week but with Kate breaking her ankle we had to change up our plans. I didn't want to cancel the trip altogether so we ended up going Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, Kate had to stay back with Mike because she was still on bedrest.


I wanted to see my family but my other goal was to take Owen and Savannah to the Children's Museum to see some special exhibits.

I grew up coming to this Museum so it was really fun to bring the kids

We had so much fun at the museum!!! I just wish Kate could have come with us :(

This water clock is one of the things I remember distinctly about visiting when I was little

After our visit to the museum, we went over to my Aunt Susan's house for a little family gathering!

Owen and Pappy! My grandparents live in IN now, so it was awesome to see them while we were there

And the kids were in luck! Uncle Tim opened the pool just a week earlier so they were able to swim :) 

It was a pretty quick trip (just about 30 hours) but I am so glad we did it! With the end of the year stuff and moving coming up quick, we may not have made it up!!
