Moving Week

The week after school let out was another busy week for us Olivers! It was moving week. We had some appointments on Monday, I had my last day of work on Tuesday and then Wednesday we treated ourselves to a little fun. We met up with some friends at Chuck E Cheese for a play date.

Kaitlyn and her friend Kaitlyn both had injured right ankles!!! 

On Thursday Kate had a follow up appt with the ortho dr and got her cast off....for a moment at least :)

Friday was moving day!! But little did I know it would take forever to get moved out! We got the truck at 9 am

But then we realized that Owen had lost his glasses, I had to run to the Cable Company and drop off equipment, the realty company called and needed me to sign some paperwork, and I had to get everyone lunch! Here are Owen's new glasses :) So handsome! 

Finally at about 4:00 we left Lexington! By 5:30 we saw this.....yay!!! 

At 6:30 we pulled off at our exit and realized we were right behind the truck! 

The next day we did a little exploring and found Lake Norris! Gorgeous!!!

Out to dinner at Calhoun's on the Tennessee River! Savannah just wanted to be out in the water!!! 

The restaurant manager felt so bad for Kate and her leg that be brought her this free dessert!!

 

Overall moving in went really well. All of the boxes are unpacked and gone and mostly things are put where they need to be. I am sure it will take a few more days to feel totally settled but for a start it's going pretty well! I will try and post pictures of the house really soon.
